Emotional Cybergrind outfit Blind Equation has signed with Prosthetic Records ahead of the release of their new album, Death Awaits.
Announced on the LA-based label's website, the news came after weeks of teasing the new single "never getting better," which premiered on 6/22 at midnight. At just over two minutes, the chiptune-metal fusion track debuts a sleeker sound with a strong hyperpop influence that doesn't detract from the song's heavier overtones.
Shortly after, it was announced that Prosthetic Records and Big Money Cybergrind would be releasing physicals of the upcoming LP, Death Awaits, with the former doing CDs and Vinyl and the latter releasing two variants of cassette tapes. Having already announced a tour to support the new record with New Zealand-based Deathtrippa, the future seems bright for cybergrind.
