Hellpop outfit In This Moment have spent much of the last year and change touring on the back of their eighth studio album Godmode, with their most recent Black Mass tour seeing them alongside DED, The Funeral Portrait, and Dayseeker. Recently, frontwoman Maria Brink launched her own YouTube channel, with content including lo-fi versions of the band's songs and other ambient sounds that could come in clutch for the impending Halloween holiday.
Among the videos posted by Brink is a rehearsal clip of the choreography for "The Purge," the lead single from the aforementioned recent LP. Flanked by the Blood Girls, Brink runs through the movements for the song, showing off her stage presence and tightening up the coordinated routine. While such dancing and choreo is usually attributed to pop music and drag artists these days, we forget just how much a metal stage show takes to pull off, and this clip serves as a reminder of just that.
