Infected Rain Call Out The "Stranger"

Moldova's Infected Rain, fronted by the braid-donning diva Lena Scissorhands, are beginning their "mutation phase," preparing for what will be their seventh studio album. The first taste of new material comes in the song "Stranger," complete with a striking music video directed by the band's guitarist Vadim Ozhog. Front and center are Lena's vocals, where she pulls off a one-woman "beauty and the beast" display with melodic choruses and chugging verses.

Says Lena on the new track:

"'Stranger' came from the moment when you realize you don't fully recognize yourself anymore. It's an inward fight with identity, with the roles you've worn for too long, and the distance that grows between who you are and who you think you should be. In the end, it's about becoming strangers to ourselves, and trying to find the way back."

While the band undergo their self-labeled mutation phase, they are currently on tour with Butcher Babies and Black Spikes, and will find themselves stateside later this spring alongside Stitched Up Heart. The following dates are available:
