Limp Bizkit Put Their Stamp on The 'Battlefield' Theme With "Battlefield: The After-Party"

The classic theme gets a nu metal makeover just in time for the new game's release.

Limp Bizkit's collaboration with the Battlefield 6 continues to pay dividends. Hot off the success of their hit single "Making Love To Morgan Wallen," the band have joined forces with BAFTA-nominated composer Henry Jackman (Captain Phillips, X-Men: First Class) for a reworked version of the Battlefield 6 theme entitled "Battlefield: The After-Party." The instrumental track coincides with the game's release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.

Despite the conspicuous absence of lead singer Fred Durst, "Battlefield: The After-Party" proves once again the band, and guitarist Wes Borland in particular, has a genuine knack for reinterpreting existing works. To this day, their spin on Lalo Schifrin's Mission: Impossible theme remains one of their best songs. Check out the official visualizer video below.

At the end of November, Limp Bizkit will kick of the Latin American leg of their successful Loserville Tour, dubbed Gringo Papi, along with Yungblud, 311, Ecca Vandal, Riff Raff, and Slay Squad.
