Anders Colsefni, Ex-Slipknot, To Play “Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat” Live

Ex-Slipknot vocalist Anders Colsefni will be performing the entirety of Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. live in Australia and New Zealand on an upcoming 12-date tour.

Bringing along Waylon Reavis of Mushroomhead fame, the Numetal Mayhem Tour will see Colsefni perform all eight tracks, which include the very experimental “Dogfish Rising." Reavis, meanwhile, has stated that he will be performing a variety of Mushroomhead and A Killer's Confession hits.

Joining the band in 1995, Colsefni left Slipknot after being replaced by current lead vocalist Corey Taylor in 1997, although he still did backing vocals and percussion for a period prior to publicly leaving the group before their signing to Roadrunner Records.

MFKR was released on Halloween in 1996, and although it was technically the first Slipknot album, it’s widely considered to be a demo and is largely ignored in canon, having never seen an official wide release. The only remaining member of the band from these sessions is Shawn “Clown” Crahan, who helped found the group.

The Numetal Mayhem Tour kicks off on October 11th in Sydney, Australia. Tickets are on sale at www.numetalmayhem.com, with VIP experiences available.
