Apocalyptica Debut Live Cover of Sepultura’s “Refuse/Resist”

Finnish cello-metallers Apocalyptica have released a spectacular live cover of Brazilian proto-nü act Sepultura’s classic song “Refuse/Resist.” The video, which debuted on Apocalyptica’s YouTube channel last Friday, was recorded for the online concert series Tuska Utopia in November of 2020, when Finnish music venues were shuttered during the Covid-19 pandemic. The band performs in the ruins of a sixteenth-century church in the small town of Pälkäne, and the setting compliments the performance perfectly. Fans of Apocalyptica or Sepultura should definitely give it a watch.
