Delivering on his promise (threat?) to be the greatest motherfucker that you ever hated, Fred Durst and the boys from Jax hit No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts with their new single, "Making Love to Morgan Wallen." Taken from the upcoming Battlefield 6 soundtrack, the song snagged 2.6 million US streams, 639,000 radio audience impressions, and 2,000 downloads in the week ending September 18th, sending it to the top of the Hot Hard Rock Songs, Alternative Digital Song Sales, and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts.

The result of brilliant viral marketing, critical re-evaluation of the band's back catalog, a platinum-selling artist's name in the title, or maybe just the song's undeniable quality, this is the first Limp Bizkit track to top a Billboard chart this century. Prior to this, the only Limp Bizkit song to reach No. 1 on a Billboard chart was "Re-Arranged," which topped the Alternative Airplay Chart back in 1999.

Starting in November, the band will embark on a tour of South America. Still no word on when–or if–the next record is coming out.
