With the returning force of nu-metal, bands are continuing to find ways to embrace the nu-metal style in a variety of different ways. One such band is the Nashville based straight edge nu-metalcore band Orthodox, known colloquially as “big pants music.”
Noticing Orthodox's embrace of the big pants music moniker, as well as one of their members showing love for the brand, JNCO Jeans has reached out to the band to sponsor them. In a recent Instagram post the band shared, the members can be seen sporting the Y2K fashion staple in some professionally shot photos.
As the nu-metal revival continues its ferocious takeover of the heavy music world, it's nice to see big pants music getting some appreciation from the big pants themselves.
