The Pretty Wild, whose debut album zero.point.genesis comes out November 21st on Sumerian Records, are withdrawing from their tour with Set It Off. While nu metal baddies Jyl and Jules don't go too deep into specifics, they cite "protecting our health and nervous systems." Fans of the Las Vegas-based sisters know the band has long emphasized mental health awareness. Looking at the bigger picture, the Las Vegas sisters also want to set "an example of how important it is for artists and fans alike." Given how busy they've been in recent months, it's understandable that rapid rise might take its toll.

we've been absolutely blown away by the love and support you've shown us this year. the growth of this community has been unreal and we feel it every single day (black heart emoji)
after a lot of reflection, we've decided to step back from the upcoming Set It Off tour.
it wasn't an easy call, but it's the right one for where we are right now. due to how fast things have been moving because of you all showing up online and in person (prayer emoji) we've realized it's vital to pause, catch our breath, and make sure we're building from a place that's grounded and sustainable. things have been moving faster than we ever imagined, and we believe protecting our health and nervous systems has to come first. not just for us, but as an example of how important it is for artists and fans alike. if we want this to last, we have to build it on a foundation of wholeness.
we know some of you had plans, tickets, long drives, and that means more to us than you know. if that's you, there's a form linked in our bio... we'd love to connect personally + send you something special as a thank you.
thank you for giving us the space to breathe, recalibrate, and keep the art sacred. we hope this choice reminds anyone reading that it's okay to pause, to honor your limits, and to come back stronger.
see you soon across the pond for the sold-out UK + Europe tour w/ Sleep Theory, ShipRocked in january, and more shows, festivals + chaos coming soon.
