Attention gamers! The fine folks at Riot Games have enlisted none other than Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes and Spiritbox lead singer Courtney LaPlante for "If The Sun Burns Out Tonight," the official theme song for the upcoming 2026 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT). The music for the track comes courtesy of EDM DJ/producer/composer Grabbitz (born Nicholas Chiari). The esports tournament will run from September 24th to October 18th in Shanghai.
"If The Sun Burns Out Tonight" is written by Grabbitz and frequent collaborator Frank Regelski (Frankie IV, April 94), with production handled by Grabbitz and Sykes. First teased back in August, this collab marks the first Sykes and LaPlante have appeared on the same track. Fans have been jonesing for this crossover since LaPlante hit the stage with BMTH to sing "Chelsea Smile" in Malta back in 2022.
While the track is more focused on beat drops than breakdowns, the synth-heavy track still has a few moments of drama from the two Grammy-nominated metalcore heavyweights. Definitely worth checking out for the more open-minded and/or EDM-inclined. Though, judging by the skyrocketing view count on the music video, this stylistic departure is more than welcome.

Spiritbox are currently touring the UK and Europe with special guests Jinjer and Dying Wish. In November, fans can see them open for Metallica at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The band will then play all three days of Good Things in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Meanwhile, Bring Me The Horizon are gearing up for a run of North American dates starting September 20th in Vancouver. Joining them for the tour will be Motionless In White and The Plot In You. They'll also be appearing at Furnace Fest on October 11th. And finally, fans in Germany can look forward to seeing BMTH at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park next June.
