PINKNOISE Debuts Second Solo Single "Bittersweet"

The former NVRLESS singer previously dropped "Never Last" in fall 2024.

PINKNOISE, aka Kacey Foxx, is the former vocalist for NVRLESS, a modern metalcore outfit which formed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Foxx broke away from the band late last year and began their solo career under the PINKNOISE handle, releasing "Never Last" last fall. Known for their vocal range and impressive growls, Foxx's social media presence grew quickly, leading to their nickname of "Theyley Williams," in a cheeky nod to Paramore's Hayley Williams.

Their newest single "Bittersweet" is an ode to unmatched energy in relationships, with Foxx's voice ranging from the emotive and understated to the furious and unclean. The bridge is particularly intense, with Foxx letting fully loose at the object of their frustration, with lines such as "I rode it out but couldn't carry you out the mud" leaving listeners wondering who hurt this nice pink-haired person in the suit.

The music video, which you can watch below, was directed by JT Ibanez and features a fittingly pink and black color palette. The future is pink, as Foxx has declared, and while the song has a throwback sound of sorts, evoking memories of 2000s post-grunge and metalcore, Foxx's composition and vocal range are adding new shades to the game.
