The wrestling world is on the Road to WWE WrestleMania 41, set to take place in Las Vegas, NV on April 19 & 20. This year’s last major stop on that road is Elimination Chamber, emanating from Toronto, Ontario, Canada this Saturday. Named for the stipulation match first introduced in 2002 at Survivor Series, the event features four blockbuster matches, two of which will take place in the titular structure.
Today (February 26), WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced that the theme song for the Elimination Chamber premium live event will be Poppy’s “New Way Out,” from her most recent album Negative Spaces. In a video promo for the announcement, Levesque notes that “an event of this magnitude needs a soundtrack to match.
She also previously appeared for NXT, WWE’s developmental brand, playing songs on multiple TV episodes, as well as for NXT TakeOver: Portland in 2020. She also released the EAT EP in 2021, which was marketed as EAT - NXT SOUNDTRACK. Given that Poppy is also featuring on the WWE 2K25 soundtrack alongside Knocked Loose for their song “Suffocate,” Poppy may be well on her way to assuming the mantle of WWE’s favorite musician, or at least that of the aforementioned Levesque.
The card for WWE Elimination Chamber is as follows:
- Men’s Elimination Chamber Match: John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Logan Paul vs. Damian Priest vs. Seth “Freakin’” Rollins - Winner challenges for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania
- Women’s Elimination Chamber Match: Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley vs. Naomi vs. Roxanne Perez - Winner challenges for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania
- WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus vs. Nia Jax and Candice LeRae
- Unsanctioned Match: Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens
Also on the night, The Rock will return to get an answer to the offer he has made to reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes: to become his champion as opposed to the people’s champion. While The Rock is not yet confirmed to appear at WrestleMania, it is believed that this will have grave implications for the event, as well as for the Undisputed Championship itself.
WWE Elimination Chamber will stream on Peacock this Saturday, March 1st, beginning at 7pm EST.
