The late Nineties brought with it a new wave of heavy music, as well as a revival of the slasher film. The mother of all crossovers in this sense is Freddy vs. Jason, with its soundtrack boasting appearances from Chimaira, Ill Niño, Mushroomhead, Slipknot, and more of their contemporaries.
Real Gone Music have announced a first-ever vinyl pressing of the soundtrack, with pre-orders running through the release date of October 10th. Only 1,500 copies will be made, with each boasting 2 LPs on a special red smoke vinyl.
