Static-X have been paying tribute to their fallen frontman and namesake Wayne Static for some time now, and in the latest clip posted to WackenTV's YouTube, a handful of songs from the band's 2025 performance at the iconic German metal festival can be seen. While the appearance is focused around 25 years of their legendary debut album Wisconsin Death Trip, thus necessitating "I'm With Stupid" and the recently Gold-certified "Push It" to be in the setlist, the band also pulls "Cold" from their sophomore effort Machine, which itself turns 25 this year.
While Static-X will not be a part of Wacken this go-round, this clip serves as a celebration of life and evil disco, and sometimes, that really is enough. As of last month, Static-X's tour dates have been postponed following undisclosed health issues.
