Two weeks after the release of her “Surrender” EP, nü-pop songstress Amira Elfeky is keeping the hype going with a live performance of single “Forever Overdose.” A full music video for the track came out the same day the EP, but anyone in Elfeky’s growing fanbase who was put off by too many jump cuts will delight in this new footage of the singer and her backing band playing at night on a city rooftop, leisurely hopping between two camera angles.
There’s not much that's new here, just another highly-clippable reminder of her unshakeable pop instincts, soaring vocals, and airtight songwriting to keep her at the top of everyone’s social media feeds.
Elfeky’s planning on taking “Surrender” on tour later this year, with several summer dates across the EU and UK, and US dates planned for September and October. Check out our full review of the EP here.
