Grown Man Who Goes By "Kid Rock" Throws Tantrum, Storms Off Stage

Kid Rock, the multi platinum selling "musician" who has had more success the past decade shooting Bud Light cans than writing music, recently had a meltdown in Nashville, TN, proving once again that his skin is about as thick as wet tissue paper. The rock-rapper was a special guest at a birthday bash for Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan, held at Jon Bon Jovi's bar, but threw a tantrum and stormed off stage when the audience didn’t clap enough for his liking.

During a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s "Proud Mary", Kid Rock decided the crowd’s enthusiasm didn’t meet his rock star fantasy standards. Instead of, you know, just playing the song like a professional, he opted for a full diva moment. "Fuck them. Fuck them. Hey, hey, stop," he grumbled, even shoving a female singer out of the way to throw his little fit. He then attempted to lead a forced round of applause, declaring, "If you ain't gonna clap, we ain't gonna sing. That’s how it's gonna work." This felt like an homage to former presidential hopeful Jeb Bush's "Please clap," moment, but with less brain cells and even more pathetic desperation.

Shockingly, some members of the audience actually humored him and started clapping, but even that wasn't enough to soothe his fragile ego. In true Kid Rock fashion, he doubled down on the melodrama, sneering, "You know what, fuck y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone," before storming off like a child who didn’t get a participation trophy.

The show went on with David Bryan, who the event was for, carrying on like an actual professional. In the aftermath, Kid Rock may want to reconsider terms such as "snowflake," and "triggered," that he throws around often. He seems to be the textbook definition of both.
