Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion has long been a fan of rock, having previously collaborated with Spiritbox on her remix of "Cobra" and the track "TYG," and enlisting Nickelback to bring back Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle Cheetos®, but earlier today, Tina Snow herself made it a point to let the world know she still fucks with Deftones.
Following a cryptic Instagram post featuring pics of the "WAP" rapper and a wolf, Megan posted a video of the shoot to social media that not only proved the wolf was real—not A.I.—but had Deftones' classic "Change (In The House Of Flies)" as the soundtrack. Fans went into a tizzy speculating about what this could mean for the next phase of her career. Consensus is that rock, and nu metal in particular, will play a part in Megan's upcoming album, MEGAN ACT III: HOUSE OF TINA.
Over on TikTok, one fan commented, "I just know she loves the queen of the damned soundtrack, too" to which Megan replied "DO" in all caps. Deftones and the Queen of the Damned soundtrack? Game really does recognize game.

For the uninitiated, Megan Thee Stallion's Deftones connection goes back several years. The "Thot Shit" rapper previously posted Deftones to her Instagram stories in 2023 featuring—you guessed it—"Change (In The House Of Flies). And all the way back in 2019, Megan took part in the second annual Dia de los Deftones in San Diego. Fitting, given that Megan recently intimated this new album will see the return of her pre-"WAP" alter ego, Tina Snow, the likes of which fans haven't seen since before COVID.
Deftones have several shows coming up, including their special Outbreak Fest show in London, Sick New World in Fort Worth, and the seventh annual Dia de los Deftones. Tickets are on sale now.
