System of a Down guitarist Daron Malakian weighed in on the performance contemporaneously, conceding that he "can't hate the guy for giving it a shot."
Recently Machine Gun Kelly has been in the news for beefing with Static Dress vocalist Olli Appleyard who reacted to the "Emo Girl" artist's new Schecter guitar with "i fucking hate living on this planet." Machine Gun Kelly weighed in shortly thereafter:
