Poet, rapper, and alleged nu metaller Otep has released a new single, “Ostracized,” featuring her trademark blend of spoken word and guttural screams. The song is set to appear on her upcoming album The God Slayer, and features a solo from Tiktok famous Vigil of War guitarist Kiki Wong.
The God Slayer releases on September 15th, and will include a mix of original songs and covers from a variety of artists including Eminem, Slipknot, and Olivia Rodrigo. A cover of Billy Eilish’s “You Should See Me in a Crown” was released earlier this year and will also appear on the album.
