Poppy has revealed a new variety series called ‘Improbably Poppy‘, for which she contributed as both a writer and co-director. The first season will feature six episodes.
According to a press release, the show is described as “a complex knot of comedy, subversive commentary, and music,” with Poppy introducing it as “a show where we’ll learn, listen, live, laugh, love and probably, a few of us will die.” It promises to challenge viewers’ minds in Poppy’s signature style.
The debut episode will air on Friday, October 11th via Veeps, ahead of the November 15th release of her upcoming studio album, Negative Spaces. So far, the singles "they're all around us", "hey there", and "new way out" have been released. The project is produced by Jordan Fish (formerly of Bring Me The Horizon).
