Atlanta nu metal upstarts Silly Goose are back with a new single and an upcoming EP. The Goose has let loose their new single, "Goodnight," the first track from their as-yet-untitled EP expected to release this summer. The track is overflowing with old-school nu metal goodness—squirrely guitars, popping bass, and booming drums are the order of the day as vocalist Jackson Foster gets confrontational and more than a little unhinged. "Goodnight" is produced by Joey Burcham (Mod Sun, Kenny Hoopla, Atreyu) and Ryan Hall.
Foster had this to say about the new track:
Simply put, "Goodnight" is a song about being angry. It was cool to go back and work with our friend Joey, who did the Bad Behavior EP, and our friend Ryan Hall. I haven't been this excited about a song in a minute.

Fans will have plenty of chances to catch Silly G live in the coming weeks and months. Right this very moment, the band is finishing up supporting Magnolia Park on their Nights After Vamp Tour, and next month they'll head over to the UK to open for OG nu metal veterans Drowning Pool and Spineshank. At the end of July and into August, Silly Goose will link up with Sleep Theory for some more shows stateside. Filling out the rest of their summer will be festival stops, including INKcarceration, Rock Fest, and Upheaval. And fans of Battlefield 6 can hear them on the nu metal-heavy soundtrack for season two.
