After teasing their next move yesterday, SKYND have announced their next subject to be English DJ, TV host, and rampant sexual predator Jimmy Savile. This new track will kick off Chapter VIII, and will feature EBM producer SWARM, in a meeting of industrial minds worthy of tackling such a prolific monster as Savile.
Highlighting Savile's hiding in plain sight M.O., SKYND offer the following commentary:
Savile was a predator weaponizing charity.
He was an entertainer, a philanthropist, a protected icon.
The darkness didn't hide, it waved at you from your television screen.
SKYND's latest effort, the Russian-themed Chapter VII: Red Winter, is available now. Read our review here.
"Jimmy Savile" will be the band's fifth song released in 2026, following "Mary Bell" and the three songs of Chapter VII: "Andrei Chikatilo," "Tamara Samsonova," and "Mikhail Popkov." It is set to release next Friday, August 7th.
They are also gearing up for their appearance at Wacken Open Air in Germany in just a couple weeks, their second in as many years.
