Kansas City rave metal trio The Browning just released "DOMINATOR [EVOLVED]," the third single from Burn This World [EVOLVED], and have officially begun work on their seventh album. The electronicore band posted a pic to social media of lead vocalist/programmer Jonny McBee at a digital workstation with the simple caption "TB 7 process has started." Fans noted the conspicuously placed laptop running Old School RuneScape and have already begun speculating on the MMORPG'S connection/influence. The as-yet-untitled album is being produced by the band's former drummer Cory Stewart whose numerous production credits include Falling in Reverse, Rivals, and Paledusk.
Like the two previous singles, DOMINATOR [EVOLVED] is "a full reconstruction of the original track, reworked from the ground up," bringing McBee's original vision into the modern metalcore era. Next month The Browning will kick off the US leg of the Burn This World [EVOLVED] Tour with support from Within Destruction, Face Yourself and Dead Eyes followed by a European leg featuring The Defect, Stain The Canvas & HEAVEN.EXE. Fans in Spain can also catch the band in July at Resurrection Fest XXI. Specific dates to be announced.
