Riot Games' new 2v2 fighting game 2XKO is due out later this year, and the release cycle just got a major upgrade. Following teases last week, the cinematic trailer has dropped, featuring the characters coming from the League of Legends universe, as well as the theme song for the game "Ties That Bind."

The song gives vibes similar to those of Spiritbox's previous collaboration with ILLENIUM, "Shivering," in that it's mostly an EDM song with crunchier production. Surprisingly, LaPlante only employs clean singing, which feels like an odd choice given her presence as a frontwoman and her range of harsh vocals. That said, it's a fun track, helped by the trailer showcasing the playable champions in the game.

2XKO is now in early access on PC, with console versions allegedly becoming available by year's end. The game's official website will have updates regarding release.
