Thekla Is #AllElite And Her New Entrance Music Is Nu AF

The "Idol Killer" has a new home and new music.

All Elite Wrestling has a new monster, as the intense Thekla made her debut on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite. Known as the “Idol Killer” and the “Toxic Spider,” the ex-Stardom wrestler attacked former AEW Women's World Champion Jamie Hayter to make her impact on the first show post-Double or Nothing. But if the playing of Drowning Pool's “Bodies” wasn't enough nu metal for the fans, Thekla's new entrance theme “Necrosis” is heavy as all get out, thanks in no small part to the work of the company's in-house composer Mikey Rukus. Sounding like Iowa-era Slipknot, it is as heavy-handed and jarring as the woman herself, and based on her first few minutes on American wrestling TV, this Austrian badass is about to make an indelible mark on the promotion. For the uninitiated, Thekla hails from Vienna, Austria, and previously wrestled in promotions including Ice Ribbon and World Wonder Ring Stardom, the latter serving as the sister promotion to New Japan Pro Wrestling. For a gaijin (wrestling slang for a foreigner, particularly Caucasians), she has been wildly successful, previously holding Stardom's Goddess (tag team) and Artist (trios) Championships. Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked her at umber 77 on their Women's 250 rankings for 2024. Check out her new entrance theme “Necrosis” and her AEW debut below:
