Pinkpop Archive is coming in clutch for classic festival footage, and their latest clip sees Roots-era Sepultura brave the rain to bring Pinkpop Festival to its knees with the Chaos A.D. cut and signature song "Refuse/Resist." Though the song gave way to groove metal in the early Nineties upon its release, the band lean into their thrash and death metal roots, playing this song with an urgency more resembling something from Arise.
In any case, it's a hell of a performance, and a snapshot of the band at the height of their powers, at least while Max Cavalera still led the charge. And if this track isn't enough, the full concert was posted several months ago.
