While the Florida festival doesn't take place until May of next year, it's never too early to start announcing the lineup in order to build excitement and sell more tickets. The first seven bands of more than 150+ anticipated, not including the previous announcement of My Chemical Romance being one of the headliners, have finally been revealed. Welcome To Rockville took to Instagram to post the first sneak peek at the 2026 lineup.
Included in the announcement are more popular nu metal bands such as Sevendust, Saliva, and Nonpoint, as well as classic staples of the genre from the early 2000's like Ill Niño, Primer 55, and Spineshank. The resurgence in popularity and recognition of nu metal in the 2020's affords opportunity to fans and bands alike. For younger fans, this may be their first chance to see the groups that defined the era since they were too young to be going to concerts back then (or they weren't even alive during the peak of nu metal). For the bands, as fans go back in time and discover, or even rediscover, many artists from that time period, they have found a new lease on life through an increase in digital streams, concert bookings, and merch sales.
Don't be surprised if more nu metal bands are announced in the future.
