Nu metal and thrash legend Max Cavalera of Soulfly spoke to Metal Underground about the new song that Soulfly is working on. According to him this material will most likely match up with Soulfly's nu metal-styled material of their self-titled 1998 record.
Cavalera teased:

He went on to hint that we'll hear the new material this summer, when the band goes on tour in Europe:
"Right now, I think we're looking at October. That's what they're talking about. And we do have a European tour that starts in June. It goes from June to late July. We are gonna be playing one or two songs from the new record on that tour, which I think is great.
