BREAKING: Slipknot Announce Sid Wilson's Departure

They're going to 86 #0

Slipknot's official announcement, which has since been deleted.

We have confirmation from Slipknot that Sid Wilson is no longer with the group, delivered through posts on the band's official social media accounts that have since been deleted across all platforms.

"Effective immediately, Slipknot will no longer be associated with Sid Wilson," the post read. "We wish him the best in his future endeavors."

TMZ was the first to uncover the information at the beginning of August, sparking what now seems to be a premature reveal of the DJ and keyboardist's departure.

In the aftermath of TMZ's report, conflicting information from every side poured in, including statements from both Jim Root and Stacy Thomson urging fans not to believe everything they read and a scathing rant from Kelly Osbourne, Wilson's ex-fiancée.

As the weeks went by, even more conflicting statements emerged, such as a second TMZ report alleging that Wilson's behavior may have been what was behind his dismissal the whole time.

Wilson himself did not have anything to say about (allegedly) being kicked out from Slipknot, instead advertising his own merchandise on his socials.

On Monday night, Wilson was spotted at the World Scratch Invitational Regional Championship in Atlantic City, but he still introduced himself as a member of the band despite conflicting claims.

The question still stands as to why Slipknot deleted the post from all of their socials, however all we can do as the general public is wait (and bleed).
