New Orleans-based metal quartet Cane Hill have released their sixth single, "Drowning Therapy," off of their upcoming full-length record, a piece of me i never let you find. The track is another encapsulation of what the band does best, emotional, thought-provoking lyrics with both soulful and absolutely punishing instrumentals. The chorus encapsulates the song best, with the lyrics belted by Elijah Witt: "they push me under the surface/ pull me out before I drift away/ they tell me all is forgiven/ the cycle repeats/ cleanse my serenity."
The album is set to drop on November 1st. You can preorder the album and presave at the band's official website.
Cane Hill have also put out a recent merch item with all proceeds going to assist those devastated by Hurricane Helene and now Hurricane Milton. You can purchase this shirt here.
Their statement reads as follows: "In 2005 the United States government left the people of New Orleans, LA to fend for themselves amidst the greatest natural disaster in the modern era. Nearly two decades later, they have done the same thing to the communities of Appalachia. The people will rebuild. The community will restore. Appalachia will experience rebirth."
