Kansas City rave metal outfit The Browning just announced their next headlining tour. Starting in October, the electronicore three-piece will make their way over to Europe and the UK for a monthlong, 22-date run. Joining the band will be Slovenian numetalcore trio Within Destruction and up-and-coming Czech metalcore five-piece Abbie Falls. Tickets go live tomorrow, June 25th.
The Browning's profile has risen in recent months thanks to a combination of relentless touring and a savvy internet presence. The latest tour announcement comes as the band is finishing the second European, festival-based leg of their Burn This World [EVOLVED] Tour. The second U.S. leg of the tour kicks off in August with special guests Deadlands, Blind Equation, Extortionist, and The Crimson Armada.
Online, the band has gained notice thanks to viral posts by lead singer Jonny McBee explaining why the band, which includes bassist/guitarist/backing vocalist Akeem Bivens and drummer Brandon Funera, does not, and will not, have a live bassist. The short answer: finances. What started as a thorough rejoinder to a common fan complaint has developed into a valuable series of videos on the realities of being a working musician in 2026.
And somewhere, amidst this already busy schedule, the band is also carving out time to work on their seventh album. This, of course, is separate from the work that went into re-recording/rebuilding their 2011 album Burn This World into this year's 15th anniversary edition Burn This World [EVOLVED].
